Kelly Hocking and Paula Hibbard here, we created Be Crowned together.

We’ve been passionate Australian hairdressers for more than three decades each, completely devoted to empowering our clients with beautiful, feel-good hair. But as we grew alongside our clients, we started to notice a growing challenge: helping them achieve their dream hair as they began to experience hair loss.

Determined to find a solution, we discovered the hair crown and set about designing one that could be personalised by hairdressers. We believe it’s the only way to truly give you back the joy of a beautiful full head of hair while feeling pampered, special and a renewed sense of confidence.

  • I’ve devoted more than three decades to creating beautiful, feel-good hair. I've managed and owned several salons, and to this day, I continue to stand behind the chair, caring for my clients.

    As I've grown alongside my clients, I noticed a growing challenge: helping them achieve their hair dreams as they began to experience hair-loss. Determined to find a solution, I embarked on a journey that led me to the Hair Crown. This innovative solution has transformed the lives of my clients with thinning hair, and now, it’s making a difference for so many others.

    My true passion lies in cutting and colouring, and I’m now using these skills to create bespoke hair crowns for women who deserve to experience the joy of having a full head of hair!

  • I'm passionate about making people feel fabulous through their hair; whether that’s sharing my expertise in long hair styling with other hairdressers, working on film and television projects, or one-on-one with clients for weddings, formals and other special occasions. 

    My journey in hairdressing began more than 30 years ago, inspired by my mother, a dedicated hairdresser with a deep love for her clients, and during this time, I have seen the transformative power of hair in so many ways.

    I believe working with Kelly for Be Crowned is the perfect way to help bring confidence and joy to women facing hair-loss, by helping them embrace the world with a crown of beautiful hair.
